Annual Preventive Care
Peace of Mind
Most importantly, taking your child to their yearly physical gives you peace of mind that they are growing and developing as they should.  Let us make sure that your child is in good health so you have time to worry about all the fun stuff.

Early Detection or Prevention of Disease
Having cumulative information about your child allows us to detect trends early-on that may indicate disease or a chronic condition.   In some cases, this early detection allows us to implement changes that prevent disease onset.

Preventive Care
Most insurance providers cover the cost of a yearly physical as it qualifies as preventive care.  Call your provider to be sure of your coverage.

Sports Physical
We do not perform separate examinations for sports physicals.  We rely on your most recent physical (within 12 months) for filling out paperwork.  Physicians can not sign off on the form without the Personal and Family Health History questions already completed by the parent.  After completing those sections, fax or drop off your partially completed form; we will notify you when it is ready.  There may be a charge for a sports physical form not in conjunction with the yearly physical appointment.

Knox County has physical exam and immunization requirements at the following benchmark years:
  • Pre-school
  • Kindergarten
  • 7th Grade
